At the Wallingford HUBCAP author book event on Nov 18, 2023, Marlou was selected as the featured poetry author. She did her first Podcast interview!

Westport Book Shop featured Marlou at a wine & cheese event to read from her award-winning poetry book and give a talk "It's Never Too Late" - she was overwhelmed to receive a standing ovation!

Marlou was delighted to be part of an evening featuring selected authors at the Bigelow Senior Center May 4, 2023. Attendees appreciated her helpful advice to aspiring authors. 

Marlou was the featured author at the Fairfield YMCA's Senior Day on Sept 21, 2022. The poems in the book and her message of - it's never too late - really resonated with attendees and the signing was a huge success!
