Invited back for the 5th time, Marlou read at the Westport Museum of Contemporary Art's Poetry & Music event on Friday, Sept 27, 2024

Marlou was chosen to be the lead poet at the Westport Museum of Contemporary Art's first Poetry & Music event on Oct 20, 2022. She read three poems from her book.

Book Signing Highlights

- At the Wallingford HUBCAP author book event on Nov 18, 2023, Marlou was selected as the featured poetry author. She did her first Podcast interview!


- Westport Book Shop featured Marlou at a wine & cheese event to read from her award-winning poetry book and give a talk "It's Never Too Late" - she was overwhelmed to receive a standing ovation!


- Marlou was delighted to be part of an evening featuring selected authors at the Bigelow Senior Center May 4, 2023. Attendees appreciated her helpful advice to aspiring authors. 


- Marlou was the featured author at the Fairfield YMCA's Senior Day on Sept 21, 2022. The poems in the book and her message of - it's never too late - really resonated with attendees and the signing was a huge success!
